It Must Be

At these points in my writing process, I think of a line from Endgame, by Samuel Beckett. I'm paraphrasing: "Finished. Nearly finished. It must be nearly finished."

That's what I think in the middle of writing, usually two hours past thinking that I had only a paragraph or two more to write.

It must be nearly finished.
